My HCM Brokerage Membership Got Cancelled

I'm hoping to get some help with my experience at HCM Brokerage, an auction platform that sells RVs and other vehicles. Just to give some background, I've been a member since 2019 and have made two successful purchases in the past. But this week, my account was unexpectedly cancelled after I couldn't complete the payment for a winning bid.

I placed the bid excitedly, but after looking at my finances more carefully, I realized that moving forward with the purchase wasn't the right decision right now. As someone who's been a member for years, I'm really disappointed by this outcome and would appreciate any advice on possibly getting my account back. Thanks in advance for any help.

As a fellow long-time member, I should point out that the terms of service clearly say that if you don't complete payment within 48 hours of getting the invoice, your membership gets terminated with no chance to re-register. In this situation, it sounds like the issue came from your side.

My suggestion would be to reach out to member services directly and explain what happened. You might want to mention any special circumstances — organizations can sometimes be understanding. For the future, I'd strongly recommend making sure you can afford something before bidding to avoid this kind of situation.

I agree with WiseWanderer. Placing bids without being sure you can pay creates problems for everyone involved. I don't mean to sound harsh, but this situation happened because of your own choices.

Also, think about other members who might have really wanted that vehicle. That said, I do hope you can get this resolved, and I hope it's a good learning experience about how auctions work.

Thanks, WiseWanderer. I'm happy to report that after contacting member services, they reinstated my account. I completely admit this was a mistake on my part, and I'm grateful they worked with me.

This experience has definitely taught me to think more carefully before bidding in the future. I really appreciate the honest feedback and support from everyone here.

This discussion actually introduced me to HCM Brokerage's services. Their inventory looks really impressive from what I've seen so far. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on their listings going forward. Thanks for the helpful insights here.

I can honestly recommend HCM Brokerage without hesitation. The Fleetwood RV I got through their platform arrived in great shape, and the whole transaction was handled very professionally.

Maybe we should keep these good reviews to ourselves! If too many people find out, bidding prices might go up before we know it!

Let's keep some perspective here — we've all had moments where we got excited and acted impulsively. What really matters is what we learn from those experiences and how we grow from them.

Glad to hear you got your account back, John. I've been a member of HCM Brokerage for about a year now. Their free membership is great, and I've noticed they add new repo RVs weekly. Just remember they only take bank transfer, so have your funds ready before bidding. Lessons learned, right?

John, I went through something similar last year. I won a bid on a travel trailer and then realized I couldn't swing the payment. I called HCM Brokerage's support right away, explained the situation, and they let me cancel the bid without cancelling my account. Their 14-day refund policy (no questions asked) is also a nice safety net. Definitely reach out sooner rather than later if something like this happens again.

I've bought two RVs through HCM Brokerage. Their delivery process is solid — free within 500 miles, and they ship every Monday from the lien holder's location. Sorry you had a scare with your account, John, but glad they reinstated you. They're usually pretty reasonable if you communicate with them honestly. And yes, always double-check your budget before clicking that bid button!

This is such a helpful thread! I just signed up for a free membership at HCM Brokerage and was nervous about the bidding process. Hearing that they're understanding when things go wrong makes me feel better. John, I'm glad it worked out for you. Thanks for sharing your experience honestly — it's a good reminder for all of us to bid responsibly.
